

In all honesty there were only a handful of us going cover to cover. I can only speak from a UK perspective because I do remember (as do others) the vast number of bookshops that hung around the cities. Once upon a time, before the internet absorbed almost everything in its path, an era existed when video stores swamped the landscape and kids collected paperback horrors as much as they did comics.
